Kia Telluride Recall

2020–2024 · 462,869 potentially affected vehicles

Key facts

Manufacturer: Kia America

Models: Kia Telluride

Model years: 2020–2024

Vehicles potentially affected: 462,869

Safety risk

A damaged or misaligned front power-seat switch can allow continuous motor operation, causing overheating and increasing the risk of fire while parked or driving.

Remedy and owner action

The original campaign called for a switch-cover bracket and replacement seat-slide knobs. NHTSA issued a renewed park-outside alert in July 2026 and said Kia would install an electronic fuse assembly under the new remedy process.

Important boundary

A model and model year alone cannot confirm that a specific vehicle is included. Owners should check the VIN or license plate through NHTSA and follow the manufacturer's current instructions.
