Corrections policy

We correct material errors promptly and explain what changed. Updating a story must not erase its history or create false freshness.

What counts as a correction

Wrong names, dates, figures, quotations, descriptions or conclusions supported by incorrect evidence are corrected. Typographical changes that do not alter meaning may be fixed without a formal note.

Updates

New verified information may be added to the same canonical story. Material additions receive an updated timestamp and visible revision context. Dates are not changed merely to make old content appear new.

How to request review

Send the URL, disputed claim and supporting evidence. We assess the evidence rather than the volume or tone of the request.
